| In person support with a Public Health Nurse experienced with infant feeding are available at many sites throughout the city of Ottawa. No appointment necessary, simply drop-in during the clinic's hours. Clinics are closed on statutory holidays unless otherwise specified. Please note:

| Breastfeeding support is available on alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Clients can call 613-233-4679 to book an appointment and visit the Centretown CHC Website to find out more information on specific dates. Starting January 2026, Breastfeeding Support services will be offered every Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

| Free Breastfeeding Support: Offered by telephone and in person with a Registered Nurse/IBCLC. Can be booked prenatally (when still pregnant) to review concerns or postpartum (once baby is born), from birth to weaning. All clients must do a telephone appointment first, in person appointments will be booked by the Registered Nurse/IBCLC as needed during this call. Clients can book online for a telephone breastfeeding support appointment here: Pre- and Postnatal Health (pqchc.com). An Ontario health card is required to use the online booking system; if you do not have a health card, please contact breastfeeding@pqchc.com or call 613-820-4922 ext 3604 to book – all are welcome! |

Local Breastfeeding/Chestfeeding Support
La Leche League Canada: Parents can go to monthly gatherings (in-person and/or virtual) to get breastfeeding and chestfeeding information and support. The meetings also give parents the chance to meet other breastfeeding families. La Leche League Canada offers telephone support for pregnant and breastfeeding people. You can contact them for breastfeeding information and support 7 days a week.
Multiple Births Canada Breastfeeding Support Network: Support for families thinking about breastfeeding or are breastfeeding more than one baby.
Ottawa Breastfeeds: Provides families in Ottawa and the region with access to information about breastfeeding support services.

- Connect with a registered nurse from Health811 for free, secure, and confidential health advice. Service is available 24/7 in English and French, with translation support also offered in other languages. Call 8-1-1 or visit Health811.ontario.ca.

- There are a variety of services to make it easier for your child to grow up healthy in Ottawa.
- You can update your child's immunization record using either the Immunization Connect Ontario (ICON) Tool or the CANImmunize App.
- If you have received a message from Ottawa Public Health such as a letter or a call regarding immunization, an infectious disease, or infection control lapse, please call 613-580-6744 and listen to the menu options carefully.
