Routine immunizations for children should be kept up to date because any delay or omission in scheduled vaccines puts children at risk for common and serious childhood infections, such as pneumococcal disease, measles, and pertussis.

When visiting your family physician practice physical distancing, sit at least two metres from others in the waiting room, and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if available. Minimize the number of people going to the appointment as much as possible.
