Immunizations

Ottawa Public Health has expanded immunization services for children and youth aged 0-17 years who live in Ottawa and who are facing barriers in getting their routine immunizations in the community. To check eligibility and for more information, please see OPH Community Clinic, or call 613-580-6744 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.

Routine immunizations for children should be kept up to date because any delay or omission in scheduled vaccines puts children at risk for common and serious childhood infections, such as pneumococcal disease, measles, and pertussis.

When visiting your family physician practice physical distancing, sit at least 2 metres from others in the waiting room, and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if available. Minimize the number of people going to the appointment as much as possible.
