Ottawa Public Health Information Line
The Ottawa Public Health Information Line (OPHIL) offers free confidential information and advice. You can call to talk to a public health nurse Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm at 613-580-6744. They can give you information on many topics including breastfeeding and caring for your baby.
La Leche League Canada
You can contact La Leche League Canada for breastfeeding information and support 7 days a week. To reach the Ottawa Chapter, call 613-238-5919 or e-mail lllcottawa@gmail.com .
Private Lactation Consultants
One-on-one help with breastfeeding in your home or the Lactation Consultant's office. There is a fee for private Lactation Consultant services.

Breastfeeding support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 1-866-797-0000
Multiple Births Canada
Multiple Births Canada's Breastfeeding Support Network gives support to mothers who are breastfeeding more than 1 baby. Email breastfeeding@multiplebirthscanada.org.
